We Have An Announcement

Psalms 62:5-6

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my defense; I shall not be moved.

We have a very important announcement to make. Mechele and I are expecting. The big day is right around the corner. We are making plans and all the necessary preparations are being made.

I bet that caught your attention. Well, it is true. No, we are not expecting any more children. But, we are truly expecting some new arrivals. You see, we believe the Bible is the Word of God and God cannot lie. Therefore, based on the Word, we are expecting miracles in our life. We are expecting the manifestation of what we have been praying for based on that Word.

We are expecting wisdom to flow from our lives. We are expecting all the necessary provisions to abound. We are expecting health and the fulfillment of God's perfect will in our lives. We are expecting our children to walk in the things of God and to be blessed. We are also expecting our church to grow in numbers and in maturity. We expect the members to grow in the knowledge of God and His ways. We expect the miraculous power of God to be demonstrated every time we assemble together, through healings and the ministry of the gifts of the Spirit. The list goes on and on.

Are you expecting? Well, you should be. The Bible speaks of having hope. True Bible hope is a red-hot, burning, earnest expectation that the things that you have need of and are believing God for are surely coming to you as surely as a pregnant couple believes that what they are expecting is coming to them. It is not wishful thinking and longing gazes.

Don’t let the devil or well-meaning, yet wrong thinking people, rob you of the blessings that God has for those who trust Him. Put your full expectations in Him, never let up, He will not disappoint you.

MY WORD CONFESSION: My soul does wait upon God and my expectation is from Him, He alone is my rock and my salvation.
