All Things?

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Point of view is a very important aspect of life. It can be the factor that determines whether you have victory or defeat in your daily life. This is reflected by whether you see that glass as half full or half empty. Either way, the glass has no more or less in it, the only difference is in how you perceive the glass. A half full glass seems better than a half empty glass doesn’t it, even though the actual amount is not changed at all? Do you see that it is all in perception?

In our daily lives, perception has all to do with our victory and our joy. How you perceive a thing to be determines how you react to and relate to that thing. I want you to see that God looks at all of your life as though it has already happened. He sees the end from the beginning and in His eyes, it is all good. He knows that you will make it and that you will make it in joy and victory. In other words, from His point of view, you are already all that He says you are and sees you to be.

For this reason, we can see what the Bible means when it says that He will cause all things to work together for your good. Now this does not say that all things in your life are good. There are some terrible things that happen to us in our daily living in this sin sick and devil infested world. No, all things aren’t good, but God is greater. He will cause even the bitterest pill to work out for good in your life. What a great promise, the Almighty God will take everything that the devil throws at you and will turn it around and make it be for your ultimate good, therefore nothing can cause you harm.

The question that you must answer today is, will you trust Him and His word enough to thank Him in all things and trust Him to be able to do what He has said that He would do?
