Get Into Agreement

Mark 16:20

And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.

It is not uncommon to hear people say something like this: " I believe that the Bible teaches that miracles are for today, I just can't seem to get in on them in my personal life." Maybe you have said something like that yourself.

Kenneth Hagin said, "Our thinking must be in line with the Word of God, because we cannot believe beyond the actual knowledge that we have of God's Word." It is important to have a prosperous soul( your mind, will and emotions). But, that is not enough, developing a prosperous soul does not take the place of having faith in God's Word. Rather, it helps you to have strong faith in God's Word.

It is possible for the human spirit to be enlightened about the things of God without the human soul possessing an understanding of those things. A person can have faith in his heart, and doubt in his head. While a person may be in this condition, it certainly isn't God's best. God desires that your soul and your spirit be in agreement, and have knowledge and understanding of the things of God.

God desires your soul and spirit to be in harmony with His Word. This will help you to have strong faith in God. The Holy Spirit wants to enlighten both your spirit and your soul by the Word of God. Your spirit receives revelation from the Holy Spirit, while your soul is renewed day by day through the Word of God. God desires that your spirit and your soul be in total agreement by having the same revelation. E. W. Kenyon stated, "We find that as soon as we can bring to our heart the perfect assurance that our disease was laid on Christ, and the mind comes into agreement with the spirit, healing is inevitable."

If you want God's miracles in your life, you must bring your spirit and soul into total agreement on God's Word, acknowledging it to be the truth, totally and absolutely.
