2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
The Word of God is life. It is powerful. It is awesome, and has the ability to revolutionize our lives, and change our world. But we must know that truth, and allow it to work in our lives. We need to understand what the Lord requires of us and to discover how to fulfill the destiny that He has for our lives. We are chosen agents on assignment, sent into the kingdoms of the earth to establish the Kingdom of God in the earth. God created the earth to extend His Kingdom in it, and He entrusted that responsibility to man.
In Genesis chapter 1, God gave man the mandate to take dominion and rulership over the earth. But man surrendered his authority to alien forces (Satan), and since then has been unable to effectively fulfill that mandate. Man has been trapped by this alien force to whom he submitted himself, limiting his capacity and his ability to fulfill his assignment. However, God does not change, and whatever He starts, He finishes.
Even though man messed up by surrendering the dominion and authority given to him, God still intends to have what He had in mind at the beginning. So He takes us through the process of salvation and renewal to bring us to the place where we are capable of fulfilling that purpose. God will not ease up until it is finished.
Are you committed to go forward and fulfill your destiny as an "agent on assignment" to transform the world? Jesus said, "For many are called, but few are chosen" (Matt.22:14).
You have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this. This is your time to shine out for the Kingdom of God. What ever work is done here in the name of the Lord will be eternally rewarded. Get into the Word and accept your commission as an "agent on assignment."
