Discovering The Things Of God

John 16:12

I have many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now.

There is a vast reserve that God has stored up, just waiting on us to explore. The things of God are waiting to be discovered. God has put them where they can be found by any believer who will diligently seek after them. There is a very important key to finding the things of God. This key is having a renewed mind that will flow with the revelation the Holy Spirit gives from the Word of God.

Have you ever had trouble understanding the Bible? I know that there was a time in my life when I read the Bible and tried to understand every little detail. I wanted to know all the whys and wherefores. I ended up getting frustrated and confused. I learned that it was not my job to understand the whole Bible. It was my job to read the Bible and then to trust the Holy Spirit to reveal what it meant to me. Jesus said, "Nevertheless, when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you into all truth…" (John 16:13)

Armed with this revelation, you can now begin to read the Word with anticipation and expectation simply trusting the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what God wants you to know. Remember, it is the Holy Spirit who reveals the things of God. He reveals the Word of God to you as well as the will of God for you.

God has many things for you, both spiritual and material. As you renew your mind to the Word of God, you can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit more easily and in a greater measure.

God wants you to think supernatural thoughts. The Holy Spirit will say and do things that are supernatural. As you renew your mind to God's thoughts and ways, you can enter into a higher way of thinking and a deeper realm of flowing in the things of God.
