Maranatha Outreach - The Netherlands

The third major stop on the movement tour was in the Netherlands. The team was to meet up with a missions agency who would then be their contact throughout the rest of Holland. Upon first arriving in Holland the team met with the missions officials and were taken on a tour through their entire facility. This facility had housing for teams and groups that came in, Multiple chapels and class rooms, and a beautiful sanctuary for their church services. "It was a real honor to be able to see all the things this organization was doing for the Gospel of Christ. We toured the entire facility and saw how this organization started, and learned that every year they print out millions of tracks and send them all over the world. I believe God has this missions organization strategically placed right where he wants it in Holland." After touring the facilities and having a time of prayer the team was taken to a town about twenty minutes away named Schiedam where they would stay while in Holland.

Schiedam would be the central center from which all the teams' outings would take place. Each morning the team would wake up, head for the train station and catch a train to the next town that they would minister to. The first town was Amsterdam, Holland. Amsterdam is known for its infamous "Red lights District" and for its free use of drug paraphernalia. "If it feels good do it." The team wasn't able to get in to Amsterdam and do any kind of street evangelism due to the local government, but it wasn't able to stop a group of young people from touring strategic locations and praying for the spirit of Revival to fall over that city. "Amsterdam was a different place, as Christians you just felt out of place there."

Over the next few days the group would travel and minister in Rotterdam and Den Haag, Holland. In Den haag instead of hitting the streets, the movement team hit the beach. Settled in on the boardwalk the team had dance competitions, dramas and skits, music, and preaching. Many people stopped by to listen or spectate but very few actually received that Gospel that was spoken to them. It is the team's desire that what was spoken was a seed planted in the hearts of the people and that God would draw them unto Him and show them that He is the way the truth and the light and that one day they would realize that Jesus is Lord.
