Worship is one of the core foundations of Maranatha. Our desire is to use our songs and music to help people connect with God in a greater way. Maranatha is committed to extravagantly and passionately expressing our love to our Lord and Savior. God is worthy of our highest and our best.
We believe that God inhabits the praises of His people. We desire to clearly sense and experience God's presence every time the church gathers. We want to connect intimately with Him and hear His voice so that more of His character and nature can be found in us!
During every service at Maranatha Christian Center you will hear the sounds of praise and worship resounding throughout the building. Led by the Maranatha Praise team, the congregation enjoys a contemporary blend of praise and worship that is focused on an intimate experience with God allowing the Holy Spirit to move within the congregation.
Maranatha Worship, as a whole, is made up of an amazing team of worshippers who give of their time and lives to seeing God be magnified!
Worship consists mainly of the contemporary praise & worship songs that can be heard on christian radio today. Here at Maranatha we also enjoy some of the more traditional songs while adding our own unique style to them.
"Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and enter His courts with praise."
The reason we start every service with praise and worship is because it is the praise and worship that prepares the hearts of the congregation for an intimate time with God. Often times God uses the worship time to prepare each person for the word that they will receive during the message.
We do not see the worship team as an elevated position in the church, but as a team that God uses to usher the congregation into an intimate time with Him. The worship teams' responsibility is merely to worship and provide a way for the rest of the congregation to follow corporately.
