Hebrews 13:2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
I don’t know what you believe about angels and their involvement in our lives. I would guess that since you believe the Bible, you would agree that angels do exist. Many who believe in the existence of angels either do not understand or just choose to ignore the ministry of angels to the individual believer.
Now almost all would agree that we have guardian angels. Even the very unlearned Christian believes that. In fact, many who are not Christians believe this. I too, believe in guardian angels and can give testimony to several times that I believe that my own guardian angel has stepped in and protected me from physical harm and even possibly death.
The Bible teaches that angels have more to do with ministry in the lives of believers than just protecting them. There are multitudes of angels and I believe that you have more than one, even possibly dozens or hundreds assigned to you, for the purpose of helping you to gain access to all of the benefits that are yours as a Child of God. In Hebrews, we are told that angels are ministers to those who are the heirs of salvation. The word salvation literally means protection, provision, health and deliverance.
We must remember that angels are messengers and ministers. As such, they are servants. They are not to be worshipped, appreciated yes, but not worshipped. That is reserved for God. They are also not to be sought out for advice. We should never seek to consult with angels for direction or leadership. That is occultism and opens the door to demons. God is the one who gives answers and leads.
Do not be unaware of angelic ministry, recognize it, accept it and enjoy it. It is yours from God to help you and to bless you.
