where is my miracle?

Matthew 4:23

And Jesus went about all Galilee . . . healing all manner of sickness and disease among the people

This seems to be one of the most asked questions these days in the body of Christ. So many people needing so many miracles, yet so many going without them. There has to be a reason for this. It is evident from the Bible that God is a miracle working God, that He is also unchanging and is not a respecter of persons. This being the case then there must be some other reason why so many don’t get the miracle that they need and desire.

I believe the problem lies in a misunderstanding of what brings God's miracle from heaven down to earth. There are three distinct factors that come into play when we seek a miracle. We must understand that nothing is more or less difficult for God. He can cure cancer as easy as he can heal a headache. The defining factors are with us.

Of course, the first thing that is apparent is the issue of faith. Faith must be present either in the one needing the miracle or the one praying for them. Jesus told blind Bartimaeus and the woman who had the issue of blood that their faith had made them whole.

As important as faith is, there are times when we must put actions to our faith. James said that faith without works is dead. Jesus' mother told the servants at the wedding, "whatever He says to do, do it." We must heed that word also. If He says to get up and run then get up and run. If He says shout then shout. We must put action to our faith.

Thirdly, we must learn to kick doubt out. Once you have believed and acted on your faith, you must refuse to doubt or fear. When the devil comes to you and says, "You're not going to get that miracle, you don’t deserve it." You must refuse those doubt-producing thoughts and say, "Bless God, I don’t get what I deserve, I get what Jesus bought for me, and He paid for my miracle." Put these three to work in your life and see that miracle that you need manifest itself in you..

MY WORD CONFESSION: I walk in faith, obedience, and I do not doubt that God will work miracles on my behalf today.
