pressing in

Luke 16:16

The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing in to it.

The kingdom of God, what an awesome concept. I am surprised that so few really know what it means to be a part of and partaker in this great powerful entity. The very name implies its wonderfulness, a realm in which God is King. Where is this realm? It is wherever there is anything, because God has created everything, and everything that God created is included in His kingdom. In other words, God rules, in everything and over everything. One day all will recognize this.

The most awesome truth of this is that it is not only possible, but is God’s plan that we get in on this great truth right now. He wants us to be able to take advantage of all the benefits and blessings of being a part of His kingdom.

You may be asking the question, “How do I get in on these blessings and promises?” This is a very good question and one that the Bible answers very clearly and emphatically. The Bible tells us that we are to walk daily in the things of God in the same way that we received Jesus as our Savior. (Colossians 2:6)

We all received Jesus as our Savior by faith. We heard the Word, believed it by faith and in faith ask Jesus to come into our hearts to save us and forgive us of our sin. This is the only way we can get saved. It is faith in what God has done and said. We press in on the promise of God to save all who would call on Jesus.

This is the same way that we get into the blessings and receive all of the promises of God. If you need healing, deliverance, provision, or whatever your need may be, you must believe the Word and press in by faith. Speak the Word in faith, calling what you need as though you already have it. Don’t let up until it becomes reality, press in on the kingdom of God, it is all available to you and for you.

MY WORD CONFESSION: God is my provider and the King of my life, I press in to His kingdom and have all my needs met.
